Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Department of Music and Movement in Rehabilitation and Disability Education at the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences, TU Dortmund University, is offering a day of exchange, meeting, networking and inspiration on the topic of "inclusive music" on Monday, 13.11.23, from 10 am to 5 pm.
At a cosy get-together from 9.30am, participants will have the opportunity to get in touch with other musically active people before the programme begins at 10am.
After a welcome and a short keynote speech, ideas and impulses will be shared in three parallel workshops on "Band work in schools", "Inclusive music in music schools" and "Music, inclusion and cooperation". The participants can organise their lunch break according to their personal wishes and needs.
After some more time in the workshops, the band "Collective One" will enrich the day at 4 pm before it closes at 5 pm.
The day will be framed by the exhibition "Musicians in Photos". Oskar Neubauer will personally talk about his many years of work and his photos.
