By car

The campus of the technical university Dortmund is located near the Dortmund West motorway junction, where the A45 Sauerland line crosses the B1/A40 Ruhr expressway. The Dortmund-Eichlinghofen exit on the A45 leads to the South Campus, the Dortmund-Dorstfeld exit on the A40 leads to the North Campus. The university is signposted at both exits.

By bus and train

The "Dortmund Universität" S-Bahn station is located directly on the North Campus. From there, the S-Bahn line S1 runs every 20 or 30 minutes to Dortmund main station and in the opposite direction to Düsseldorf main station via Bochum, Essen and Duisburg. The university can also be reached by bus lines 445, 447 and 462. Timetable information can be found on the homepage of the Rhine-Ruhr Transport Association, and DSW21 also offer an interactive route network map.

By H-Bahn

The H-Bahn is one of the landmarks of the TU Dortmund. Line 1 runs every 10 minutes between Dortmund Eichlinghofen and the Technology Centre via Campus South and Dortmund University S, while Line 2 commutes every 5 minutes between Campus North and Campus South. It covers this distance in two minutes.

By flight

From Dortmund Airport, it takes just over 20 minutes to get to Dortmund Central Station with the AirportExpress and from there to the university with the S-Bahn. Düsseldorf Airport, about 60 kilometres away, offers a wider range of international flight connections and can be reached directly by S-Bahn from the university station.

How to reach the Movement Ambulatorium

On the North Campus of the Technical University of Dortmund you will find us in the sports building, Otto-Hahn-Str. 3, room 0.03 to room 0.06.

In order to find the Movement Ambulatorium in the sports building, it is best to follow the directions:

You enter the sports building through the main entrance (gatekeeper).
Once you are inside the building, please walk down the hallway to the right and follow it to the end. You will then exit the building through the glass door and follow the signs to the Exercise Outpatient Center, which means.
After leaving the building, turn left and walk along the left side between the sports building and the movement outpatient clinic to reach our main entrance. You enter the building and immediately turn right through the glass door. Now you are in the entrance area of the movement ambulatory and the sports studio (Fitness Förderwerk). You will find our waiting area, the locker room and the exercise room on the right side.

The premises of the movement ambulatory are barrier-free and accessible for wheelchair users. We have a handicapped accessible toilet.
